I have recently come to know (from a reliable source) that Govt. by mistake has printed 1% instead off 0.1% subject to a minimum of Rs. 500 and maximum of Rs. 20,000. It might take 2-3 months time to correct the typo. However the amount you pay at the time of sale agreement will be deducted from the reg value of final deed. Can anybody confirm my last point?

I was happy to see the stamp duty charges are reduced from .25% to .1%. however my builder says, the Sub-registrar are demanding 1% instead of .1%. How is this possible? What is the confusion ? can anybody throw some light ?
