I have approached the bbmp office several times to pay for myself occupied property tax .my old receipts show the tax was Rs 510 in 2000 and earlier also. after that I paid the tax in bank in 2004 Rs 510/ after that I have not paid the tax till date . Now when I went to bbmp office to pay under sas scheme. The bbmp official does not accept the tax as calculated online on bbmp website. He demands almost one lac as tax from 2004 till date. He is not prepared to lisen to us or has spot inspection of the property. He demands to pay and fight in the court.
When Karnataka is most corrupt state in India and bbmp official are most corrupted how can a common man get justice. they treate common man as dogs and they no guts in there assess to collects the arrears from corrupted politicians , they only know harass the ordinary citizen . Please kindly help me how to pay the tax

bbmp website is just bottom of the pyramid. List of the tax payer is not updated and information about property is minimum. All the links are not activated. Basic info is missing. Please make it user friendly with proper property info. for the public.

BBMP authority had given permission to BESCOM for road cutting in front of my house 43/1 in 9th A Main Road, Indiranagar 1st stage, Bangalore 38 and the BESCOM had executed cable laying work by cutting the road a year ago. Depite repeated request the road has not filled with concrete, which gives lot of inconvenent. Kindly instruct area Engineer to attend work at the earliest

hello sir,

This is bharath.I paid the propery tax for 2008-09year in the month of march but the chaeck was rejected due to mismatch of signature.for that what should i do? i came to know that i have take the Demand draft of Rs.200 in addition to the tax,is this right information?
In favour of whom i need to take the DD..

I am really happy to note the BBMP’s sicere efforts to make the property tax payment become open, self assesed, infomative and user friendly. While carrying out such a vuluminous task it is likely that mistakes might creep in here and there. Frist of all let us appreciate their efforts in making it transparent for the first time in it’s history, then try to give useful suggestions instead of critical comments to improve it further.
